You should have listened to that parrot or whatever it is.

I hear Paul the psychic octopus has retired.

(And in case anyone is foolish enough to believe he really was psychic, Paul always chose a flag with red. In choosing between Germany and Spain, he chose Spain because Spain has more red (two red bars) than Germany.)

No way. Then why did on Euro 2008 God Paul chose Germany instead of Spain? (one of Paul's incorrect pick). During the same tournament Paul also predicted that Germany would win over Turkey (correct prediction). Turkey flag has more red than Germany's.

Seanie, your faith seems to slide off. Go eat calamari, it will give you the grace necessary (as Paul said, "this is my tentacle which will be given up for you").

Methinks Beng should eat Paul the Octopus. Yes, Virginia, octopus is edible. I had one in Italy.

Now that it's over, I will pass on some of the soccer wisdom(?)(!) of Bucky F. Katt, an irascible cat from the GET FUZZY comic by Darby Conley.

On Sunday 7/11/2010, the day before the comic which I will attach below, Bucky referred to the World Cup as "That, uh, Planet Mug Thingy."

Now the finale soccer comic:
GET FUZZY . . 7/12/2010 . . Darby Conley

:fyi: The U.S.S.A. remarks reminded me of the new fiction series I read back in the late 80's.
:fyi: Beng, my 188BET is waiting on your PL predictions, too.
:fyi: Get Fuzzy is grand, EP.

Ha ha!! Only once did I try to bet on soccer matches. That was around late 90's. The match between Juventus and Parma (Serie A, Italy). I bet for Parma (emotional bet, I just didn't like Juve). They tied.

But about Premier League.... here's what I think. Ferguson's team is gonna win this season. On the other end of the world, Real Madrid with the anti-Christ is going to win. Now, both team is already eligible for Champion League. The final of Champion League is going to be Manchester United (Furguson) Vs Real Madrid (Anti-christ Mourinho). The master is going to beat the pupil.

Can't tell how all premier league matches or champion league matches gonna end. [Anakin] I don't feel anything[/Anakin].

Oh, btw, the Orange Mass priest is suspended by the bishop :). So, probably Dutch is going to win Euro (plus, if Ineasta, Busquets, Torress and Marchena haven't fulfill their promise to do Saint James Walk, they won't win Euro 2012 or World Cup 2014 [it will be in Brazil]).

Is that family friendly (as far as ads, etc. go)? I'm thinking it might be something my ds would enjoy.

Thanks for the additional input. Given that ds is only 10 I think maybe we'll wait.

I'm glad the Real Madrid is going to win and not the fake one.
