I like Arkansas.

Plenty of caves to visit, several great lakes, and trout fishing in cold water springs (Bennett Springs is one).

Arkansas Day should be June 15, since that's the day in 1836 when it became a state. :fyi:

WOW!

I live an hour from Little Rock (depending on traffic).

Used to get from my house to the first Le Madeline of Dallas in 4.5 hours.

yeah, we woke up on january 2 to find a freak snowstorm had moved in and the interstate was treacherous... had our first taste of it by doing a few 360s into a barrier outside of greenville (had we ended up on the other side of the hiway, we may have slid down an embankment into a river! ) ... our 2nd situation was a traffic back up because a bridge had iced up and was only passable driving at a ridiculous slow speed... when i first started up, i started spinning and sliding sideways (can you tell i was a rookie traveling in those conditions)... the 3rd situation was just driving along at a normal speed and hitting some black ice and slamming the side of the car into another barrier ... we decided enough was enough and spent the night in texarkana... got up the next day to another snowstorm, but at least there had been some measures taken to treat the highways and everyone was traveling about 30mph the whole way into little rock....took us about 4 hours travel time both days.... i was NOT impressed!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Silver Dollar City is a great theme park to visit.

That is in Branson, Missouri :)

We used to have "Dogpatch USA" but it closed a long time ago.

We do have Magic Springs which has a respectable vertical roller coaster.

Right. Guess I was thinking of the Ozarks in general.
