Overall, 'Sabotage' is a great, underrated Sabbath album. For some reason, it is usually ranked as one of their worst, but I think it is one of their best.

Speaking of Twisted Sister 'Burn in Hell', did you know Dee Snider is a Christian. You can hear him every week on his radio show 'The House of Hair' where he plays old 80's and 90's heavy metal songs when he is not in character as the 'headbanger' and gets a little philosophical, it is clear that he is actually a pretty smart guy. He has a recurring feature on the show where he reads letters his listeners send him asking his advice, kind of like 'Dear Abby', and the advice he gives is usually pretty good.

I'd definitely put it among their best. I am tempted to say it is their best, but then I stop and think about the first two and get pretty hesitant. In fact, I guess I'd say I could find myself thinking that any of the Ozzy-era albums might be their best except Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy.

Saw Black Sabbath live in 1974. Worst concert ever. First band up was Status Quo. Much better.

That was such a hit!

Its actually very pretty, I just have no idea what he's singing. :)

It was popular. I find the song very beautiful.
Here goes my quick translation attempt:

Is it sreeragam (a musical mode) that you seek in the strings of my veena (a string instrument)?
With love, we search for some line (of music) in "we" / "us"
Your silence became flowery...
Your love/ musical mode (homonym-pun) became bhoopalam (a musical mode)
To me, you became a dawn nymph

Great song, but isn't that more of a washboard-genre song?

The picture is from an American science fiction TV show, Firefly, that was lamentably cancelled after only one season. The quote was a line said by the character shown in the photo, River Tam, who was having trouble eating the confection-on-a-fishing-pole.

Here’s the scene: https://youtu.be/oV7CVKiUJ84

You just couldn't resist could you? :verymad:

As your penance you must listen to that song for a solid 4 hours.

I say we sentence Fr. Kenobi to 4 hours sitting in a shopping mall listening to “Wonderful Christmastime” playing on the Muzak.
