I was thinking it would be fun/interesting/edifying to do something akin to the Book of the Month club in here. Maybe each week we could choose an essay (of short to moderate length and probably dealing with the philosophy of religion) to read and then discuss......Preferably keeping the conversation on a level where most people can feel comfortable and keeping the philosophical jargon down to a minimum.

If we were to do something like this, how many of you would participate?

Obi's taking a break. His vocation is important and the demands of his study are intense. I'm sure he'd appreciate your prayers.

Looks like enough participation to make for a good discussion. I've posted the first (very short) essay in a sticky thread.

We had an email conversation yesterday. His term papers are due around now and Finals are coming up.

And then he is pretty scarce over the summer, as he's usually at his parent's house, and they only have dial-up access.
