I have to attend a boring seminar/talk tomorrow night and I am interested in bringing my own reading material to help wile away the time. It can't be a book - I need to look as if I am shuffling important papers during the talk. Can anyone receommend any free articles/essays that can be downloaded for free on the web (without violating any copyright laws) that will save me from  during the talk. I'd love something theological.

Thanks in advance.

Pope Benedict's first message. But it's fairly short and won't keep you busy too long.

How about the encyclical of your choice?

I had forgotten that the encyclicals are available on the Vatican web site. :)

I will check out the Latin Mass web site as well.

There are usually some interesting articles found on seattlecatholic.com.

Adoremus Bulletin had two articles in the issue I got yesterday (one on 'Turning Towards the Lord - Orientation in Liturgical Prayer' and one on 'Christ's Presence in the Eucharist').

Also, the web site for First Things has nearly everything they've ever published except for the current issue.

One note on the Adoremus Bulletin article 'Turning Towards the Lord' (which obviously went to press some weeks ago) - guess who is referenced many times in the article? Cardinal Ratzinger!
