the biblical wedding is based on JEWISH tradition---how do we know this?

romans 3:1-2
1) What advantage, then, is there in being a JEW, or what value is there in circumcision?
2) Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God.

does the bible confirm this with another scripture---SURE DOES.

deut 4:8
And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws, I am setting before you today?

psalm 147:19
He has revealed his word to JACOB, his laws and decrees to Israel.

acts 7:38
He was in the assembly in the desert, with the angel who spoke to hime on MOUNT SINAI, and with "our fathers"; and he received living words to pass on to us.

more new testament...

romans 9:4
the people of ISRAEL. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.

adoptive "son"
exodus 4:22
Then say to Pharoah, "This is what the LORD says: Israel is my firstborn son."

"divine glory"
hebrews 9:5
Above the ark were the cherubim of the GLORY, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we can not discuss these things in detail now.

acts 3:25
And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, "through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed"

of course, JESUS CHRIST our LORD was a hebrew, israelite, jew---who is the answer to this COVENANT---and ALL nations on earth are blessed because of HIM.

with out a SHADOW of a doubt=----JESUS , a jew---will get married as per JEWISH tradition---ALL of which will be found in the bible.

here are the 12 steps in a jewish wedding of JESUS' day....

1) Father arranges a marriage covenant
2) selection of the bride
3) the "price" for the bride is established
4) the bride and groom are "betrothed"--engaged
5) a betrothal contract-"shitre erusin" is drawn up--the written version is called the "ketubah"
6) the bride must give her consent
7) gifts given to bride, and the couple share in "the cup of a covenant"
8) bride has ritual cleansing---immersion in water--called "mikvah"
9) bridegroom departs--goes back to fathers house to prepare bridal chamber
10) while groom is away--bride is "set apart" for a period of time(unknown lenght---depends on the grooms FATHER)
11) bridegroom returns with a "shout", a rams horn is blown(shofar), and yells of "behold, the bridegroom comes" are heard.
12) marriage and supper for all the guests invited BY THE FATHER of the bride.

1 cor 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with this forum, which is not a replacement for the apologetics forum.
