I live in Britain but I can listen to American music on youtube. I've found this artist called Connie Dover from Kansas like Dorothy Gale. I'm half Irish so this is my taste in music.

This is one of my favourite well known artists: Jolene by Dolly Parton.

I also like American musicals like Oklahoma, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Carousel, Singin in the Rain, The Wizard of Oz. They're old timers. My favourite actress was Judy Garland. My favourite actor is Tom Hanks in the film Splash and Forrest Gump. I also liked Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin, John Candy and Goldie Hawn.

I've read many American Classics like Lucy Maud Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Mark Twain and Jack London. My favourite book is Emily of New Moon. It is not fashionable in Britain. I also like A Rose in Bloom and An Old Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott. I haven't read the Prince in the Pauper but I have read Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. I read many Judy Blume. My favourite was Starring Sally J Freedman as herself which is an autobiographical novel.I have also read To Kill a Mockingbird. It is a well known text for exams in Britain. I think I've read the book The Catcher in the Rye, but I'm not a great fan. It's a murder mystery. I've read One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Connie Dover. Excellent taste, you. For a Brit, this ought to resonate. It is by far my favorite by Ms. Dover and it has depth for our family as well.

That is either the strangest thing I've heard or one of the most interesting. Or both.
