Post subject:  Found my vocation... What now

Hello good and catholic people. I just got back from a vocations retreat and found that my vocation is marriage! It is so exciting to think like, oh my goodness my future husband is out there and my kids are in the kingdom of God! I am so joyful and excited. Now the waiting begins. We both must complete some part of our journey alone and God will bring us together when it is right.
My question is... What can I do in this waiting process to ease the impatience I am having, while still being completely excited for my future? I want to thrive in my joy until I meet him (then another set of joy) but I don't want to be saddened by our separation. Some sisters said to write letters to your future spouse. What do you suggest I write about? Also, I know to keep praying for him. Any other ideas?
Just some back ground, I am 16 years old and basically have my whole wedding and have all my kids names planned out.
Thank you so much for answering,
God Bless,
Love,
Emily :D

Bear in mind that your plan might not match God's plan for you. Make sure your heart is set on His plan, not yours.

Pray daily for your future spouse.

Did I mention that you should pray? :)

hello there! you have lots of plans in your future. but i suggest, to prevent you from any impatience, you just have to continue your life like a normal person that you are. enjoy every single seconds of your life even if most of the time you will encounter pain or sufferings. that is life and that is what we should have in mind. faith in go is the only things that we have in life. we can't control our future. and most of the time what we planned is not what God wants us to have. that is the reality.

Marriage is a vocation when, and if, God presents you with the person with whom you can live out that vocation. Until then just concentrate on the universal call to holiness.
