I'm looking for a book to recommend to a person struggling with the faith. The following are some the things he said, which will give you ideas of where he's coming from:

"I can't find it for myself, I've listened to teachings, prayers, people, parents, teachers... But I can't logically convince myself to believe in religion... I simply can't despite how hard I've tried... I'm not denying the existence of God,... But religion is kind of a no to me..."
"I don't think you can have logical arguments for religion."
"The Church is too rigid."

I have no idea what you just said or what you are asking.

No rules, just right. Adopted by a restaurant chain as a slogan. You can get it just right without rules? Not logical.

It sounds like Jack3 was looking for a response to someone whose thoughts he described. The urls he provided were not present....it just said "url".

Probably. Jack is almost always more coherent.

Yes. I'd originally typed a coherent post, twice, and lost them due to connectivity issues.

And it's preferable that the book be free :)

I seriously doubt if there is any book that would address the kind of questions you raised if only because they aren't real questions hey there just generic whiny complaints that it isn't really possible for anyone to answer.
