Has it ever occurred to you how completely incoherent it is to believe that, on the one hand, these alleged ancient secret societies have supposedly spent thousands of years conspiring and keeping their existence a secret, and yet, everyone knows about their existence anyway, and that all of the inner communications are done openly and in public, and EVERYONE is aware of it? What exactly is the point of forming a secret society, and then loudly and publicly advertising the existence of this society before the entire world? Has it ever occurred to you just how little sense that makes?

no but it occurs to me that this post does not make sense

In the same intelligent way you know that anything in history is true or not.

looks like a fake story just because it is so bizarre and unlikely but that alone doesn't prove anything

Either find someone who was there, and saw it all, and ask them, or find a lot of written references, books especially, and read them. Look for a range of opinions. Then make up your (now informed) mind as to what seems most reasonable, who endorses what version and how credible/loony each is, and how well each account fits into history, as you have learned it (by similar exercise). Depending on your level of interest, keep this up for (say) 15-20 years, accumulating (say) 150+ books and other references pertinent to the topic.

That's how it's done.

It makes complete sense, yet again we see that the problem is your poor reading comprehension, a problem common with conspiracy theorists.

That would probably impact my solution above.

Change to "Listen to the voices in your head", maybe.
