i keep reading, everywhere i look, that to be Christian is to carry the cross and to suffer. i don't feel like i am carrying any crosses or suffering. does that mean i am doing something wrong? taking care of my son is hard i guess...

Carrying our cross is what gives us peace.

Sometimes that cross is just doing things like laundry, cooking, and taking care of things around the house while offering it up and doing it patiently.

Doing small things in His peace, helps us to carry the larger crosses that will come along.

The Lord allows only what we can handle, and helps us when we ask.

If one sins, one has a cross....of course this assumes someone is sorry that they sin.
